Behind the scenes:
"Frozen Menace" is a chilling short film that follows the unsettling encounter between a playful child named Jackson and a malevolent snowman named Frostbite. As Jackson joyfully constructs the snowman, his innocence is overshadowed by the snowman's sinister awakening. With janky, creepy movements, Frostbite transforms from a harmless creation to a terrifying adversary. Jackson's fear of the dark intensifies as he faces the relentless pursuit of the snowman, leading to a climactic showdown where courage and quick thinking ultimately prevail. Through eerie visuals and suspenseful moments, "Frozen Menace" explores themes of childhood innocence, fear, and resilience in the face of darkness.

This was a project set out to be 30-60 seconds in length, working in collaboration with actors and bringing it to life.

As part of the team, my responsibilities included fleshing out the ideas to transform them into a narrative piece suitable for performance. Additionally, I took charge of organising and managing the administrative tasks required to set up the recording session. During the session, I provided assistance with the setup briefing and supported operations in the studio.
I contributed to creating the environment using MegaScans and also designed the character Jackson using MetaHuman Creator. Moreover, I was responsible for developing the blueprint for the streetlight system, ensuring that it functioned appropriately by turning on and off.
In post-production, I worked extensively on retargeting the recorded animations to each character, adjusting lighting, camera movements, and other details to enhance the final presentation. Although I am proud of my work, I recognize the need to go back and refine certain aspects for a better outcome.
